There is not a word in the world to describe why I do what I do to myself, and howcome I can not change what I am doing and so on. I do it for my own reasons and if you cant see that, well then I'm sorry. If you dont like how I deal with the pain in my life, then piss off. Leave me alone.

I've noticed a growing number of people posting in here about how stupid and how ignorant and how disgusting cutters are or whatever. I think if you dont like what you see, then dont read it. It's really that simple. We're not going to stop cutting just because someone posted how much they DONT like that people cut, or posted how stupid it really is. It's just another form of crying, or punching your pillow or screaming. It's just another form of release for us to deal with our pain. and as for the person who posted something about how many of us are middle-class white girls that still live at home? Excuse me? There is pain and anger in EVERY "class". Dont give me that middle-class bullshit. Fuck that. I've seen people out on the streets with gashes on their arms, I've seen my friends hold lighters to their skin, and I've seen millionaire cousins slash their stomachs just to feel the blood drip down their flesh. Anyone who cuts, has a reason to cut. Whether it's a good reason or a bad one, it's still their reason. And what gives ANYONE ELSE the right to tell them they're wrong OR right about their reason? No one has the right... NO ONE.

This site is really getting tainted by angry people who dont understand the comfort running to the blade gives us. It was a safe place for me to talk to people who understand, but it's rapidly becoming a place I choose to avoid.

I came here because my friends thought I was crazy for doing what I was doing. I came here to get away from them, and feel comfortable talking about cutting. Now I feel as if they're invading this place as well. They're coming in here to tell me I'm a bad person, and what I do is wrong, and I should be punished for it.

Please, do us a favor. Keep your comments to yourself. All we want is a place to feel comfortable and safe when the world around us is crumbling to the ground.
